This is the day to forget Corona and just celebrate that finally my blog design seems to be working and is ready to be launched. It has been quite a long process, with testing, trying and failing. The writing is the easy part of blogging – but it is quite a lot to be done in the background to make it work.. The challenge has been all the technical stuff I have had to learn.

Finally – with the help of fantastic advisors I am on my way. Sure, it is a few stumbling stones left – but nobody is perfect. Certainly not I anyway. But never mind perfect…. It is better to be a real human being, with pros and cons, smiles and tears – with ups and down like the world is, like life is.

And guess what? Accept it!! We all have to do our best to stop the pandemic by using our brains to adjust to the new reality. Hopefully, the virus will mutate into less aggressive versions, probably creating more positive cases – but less dangerous illnesses. It is a time of change, it is a time of extreme challenges – but you know what, it is often in the tough times that the human race gets stronger and more fit for living. It probably is the survival instinct that comes to the surface after being dormant for decades in a world focused on material growth and money.

I think that it is important not to focus just on the negative sides of this new situation. To avoid depression, constant stress and worry, we must take back control of ourselves. Be grateful that you have a home, that you live in a safe country, that you have access to hospitals and medical care if you should be sick… Be grateful for your family and friends, for having money so you can survive. Even if you have less than before, or you have lost your job, at least you survive and can get on.

My blog is about doing the bests you can for yourself. How you can improve your health, looks and quality of life. Now it is more important than ever before that you reduce the factors of getting seriously ill if you get Covid positive. Weight loss is crucial, as each extra kilo increases the risk! You can start with a 3 days Detox, and then follow one of my New You Diets for rapid weight loss without starvation.

  1. Hi Eva – just popping over to say hello and to check out your blog. Lovely to see another mature woman writing about her life and how she’s rocking the second half. Your life in the sun sounds amazing and I’m always so impressed by people who are brave enough to leave what doesn’t suit them any more and start afresh.
I’m in Australia and covid isn’t having much of an impact on us due to our government being very proactive in its management of it and the closing of borders (interstate and international). I’m so grateful to live life pretty much the same as it was before and to do it in a country full of sunshine and freedom.

    1. Thank You, so nice – and I am sorry for not having noticed your comment ages ago. Anyway, in these Corona times where we loose control over everything except ourselves – it is important to keep our spirits and creativity up. After all, life if but one day at the time – and the past is just a memory – tomorrow just a vision – and here and now is the only real life. Have nice day, and I will kick myself into publishing more posts. Hugs from eva
